Product Introduction
Diisopropyl ether is a colorless, highly flammable liquid with a characteristic sweet ether odor. Poorly soluble in water but miscible with many organics, it’s used as a solvent—especially for recrystallization or extraction—and as a gasoline oxygenate additive. It can form explosive peroxides upon storage.
