  • Highly toxic and irritating (lachrymator), probable carcinogen (IARC 2A). OSHA PEL: 1 ppm; acute toxicity (oral LD₅₀ ~440 mg/kg). Use PPE, fume hood, gas monitoring; store sealed, cool, in dark. Keep away from acids, metals, oxidizers; incompatible with water.
